ARGO for the Industrial Automation is the EICAS innovative optical multi-camera measuring system for contact-less measurement of the pose (position and attitude, corresponding to 6 degrees of freedom) of a set of movable bodies within a predefined camera field of view.

Many application contexts are covered, like: identification/localisation of objects  and obstacles in the working area,  walk-through programming and training by demonstration, safety systems implemented through virtual safety fences, robot TCP (Tool Central Point) accurate measurement in order to increase the robot accuracy, 3D surface acquisition  for generating the finishing path industrial robots, intelligent robotic cells.
